I've spent the morning writing about @Carousel_Learn & how brilliant the new features are to support retrieval practice with primary both inside & outside of the classroom. 🧠

@Carousel_Learn is brilliant for this. With the whiteboard mode it's such a fast and effective way to get in regular retrieval practice.

I subscribe to Carousel and think it is fantastic. I wanted a document for our Science department that would help reduce marking by using the likes of Carousel as an example of the alternatives available.

Used @Carousel_Learn analysis tab to pull up data for parents evening to show students how much better they are doing with regular retrieval quizzes. Its brilliant! So many students are making progress and are proud of seeing their scores go up (and showing it off to parents!)

Best platform out there to get students into self-driven #retrivalpractice is @Carousel_Learn from @adamboxer1 and others. Thousands of question banks from the community and the likes of @JohnCattEd , instant feedback & easy to use #TeachBKKchat #cogscisci

I have to say, @Carousel_Learn... it's very good. HW for six classes for the next week; 10 questions each. 20 minutes to choose Qs, assign classes, get the links, then add all of them to Teams. I marked last week's HW earlier; 5 mins each. Now to set up the next six weeks...

First whole class feedback on work done on @Carousel_Learn today. Great feature, with tons of potential for interesting discussion in class on misconceptions, requirements for full marks, etc. SO easy to mark, too.

I tried it with Y8, 9, 10 and 12 and they really liked it - even the students who don’t often complete homework liked it
It's very easy to set up your classes, set tasks and check progress

It's fab! I use it for a mix of homework for lower years but also as part of my A-Level independent work. Students love it and feel more confident in past modules than they used to. Reminds me that I need to pay for next year sometime soon

My year 10's confidence in remembering key studies and terms after lockdown was at an all time low 6 weeks ago. Lots of recall through using @Carousel_Learn for their assessment today (which was on 2 of our oldest topics) and they've absolutely smashed it!
