We've come a long, long way together.
2017
Adam created the Retrieval Roulette with support from the phenomenal
CogSciSci community
and a range of teachers across the UK.2020
Adam, Josh and Jose get
a grant from Innovate UK
, working with the awesome Aircury
software development agency, to turn Retrieval Roulette into Carousel.The first version goes live within 3 months of securing the grant and focuses on helping teachers deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.
4,000 teachers sign up for the free launch version.
2021
Carousel launches its premium versions (GOLD and PLATINUM) alongside the free version (SILVER) with extra features such as Whole Class Feedback, Study Packs and Question Banks from John Catt Educational.
We pass 10,000 signed-up teachers.
2022
Carousel launches primary-friendly features including Multiple Choice Questions and carefully created primary Question Banks covering the primary foundation subjects.
We pass 20,000 signed up teachers and 150 school/department accounts.
2023
Carousel becomes available in Welsh
2024
Carousel Platinum onboards its 600th school
